My iTunes was working ok, and since a software update, everytime I open iTunes it says the other users can't share files until I open port 3689.

I'm a Mac newbie, but I've searched help, looked at my firewall preferences, but nowhere can I find where this port 3689 is, or more to the point open the damn thing!

Any help would be much appreciated. thanks

Look in the sharing control panel in the system preference thing. Then click on firewall. If it's turned on click the new... button, then change the port name to other, port number to 3689, and description to iTunes.

If that doesn't work, cry.
