Does anyone know if iTunes can play songs in Liquid Audio format? The only one available is the one that liquid audio provides and only works with System 7.x and does not work in OS 9 or X.

    proprietary formats = bad
the only way you will be able to play them in osx is if whoever created that format releases an osx player (wasn't it a cdnow thing?). it's also possible that someone could reverse engineer the codec and make a player for it (like mplayer or vlc with wmv and ram), which is probably your only chance since the app has not even been upgraded to run in os8. sorry about that, it sucks when you pay for something and the people from whom you bought it don't even care enough to update their product :(
