Anyone know what is wrong with the iTunes 7.0.1 (7)? It seems that this version I had keep shutting down as and when without notice, and I am very worry that it is caused by some other reasons. Does anyone had such problem ever?

Sometimes Apps 'unexpectedly quit' with or without a warning. They should 'unexpectedly quit' with a warning after it goes tits up. So its sounds like something maybe wrong. Try repairing permissions. Or even a reinstall of iTunes.

EDIT: Just read back my post. Even if it 'unexpectedly quits' with a warning. Something is still wrong :D

    Go to Apps>Utilities>Disk Utility

Select a drive and ht repair permissions. Its a start but this may not solve your problem.

    iTunes Shuts Off Too Soon

I have asked this question many times on different forums with no answers!
I want to play my favorite music when I have guests and it always shuts off in about 15 minutes or so.
I have gone to Energy Saver and all the Preferences, but nothing works.
I even chose REPEAT ALL, but that's no good, either.
If you find a solution PLEASE post it! I will be forever grateful.
    (I use an iMac...snow leopard.)

I just tried to use SCHEDULE in the Energy Saver. It played for about 1/2 hour, then went to sleep. It was supposed to stay on for 1 hour.
I think it's time to go to the computer shop!

iTunes auto shut down without notice or warning!

I have had my Mac in to the shop two times to try to be able to play music until I want to shut it off.
It still doesn't do that! Your post is an old one...but the problem isn't!
No one seems to be able to solve this.
Have you found an answer yet? If so...share it with me, please!

If your computer is still covered by AppleCare, then call Apple (1 year, standard AppleCare/warranty - 3 years if you "bought" AppleCare/extended warranty).

What you are describing is not standard for a Mac, therefore there is something not quite right. Or, check the community forums on the Apple site. I find they are very good at these obscure/random glitches.

    Good Luck.
