    This may be simple, but on my iTunes at home the browser displays Genre, Artist & Album, but on my work machine it only displays Artist & Album.

    So...How do you set the preferences for the browser?

    try control-clicking the bar that holds the info headers in iTunes (where it says title, genre, date added, etc...) and click on and off what you want and don't want to show.

    or you can choose the "view options" by either selecting it from the view menu in the menu bar, or by pressing command-j.

    Hope that helps.

    Unfortunately, I'm looking to change the browser window just above that. Basically the windows directly below the search bar/title display area. (Browser from Edit Menu)

    Cheers,

    Preferences -> General Preferences

    Check or uncheck "Show genre when browsing"
