my husband and i are considering buying the brand new 80GB classic ipod and we have 2 major questions:

will our ipod accept songs/videos that are in itunes but not downloaded from itunes?

is it possible to download music from both of our itunes or does our ipod have to commit to one computer?

Yes, you can upload songs that weren't bought from iTunes, for example, songs you ripped from CDs.

Yes, you can use two accounts/computers to put songs on the iPod, you'll just have to manually manage the songs rather than autosync.

thanks,

what about songs that were downloaded from the internet outside of itunes?

how do i download using 2 separate accounts?

depends on the file format, but if they are in your itunes library then you can transfer them to your ipod.

All you have to do is when you connect your iPod, do not choose to AutoSync it with your library, but rather choose to manually manage your music.

You can then plug it in with either account active and copy over whatever music you want to.
