My iTunes library is served around the house by an old eMac. This shares media (primarily films, also music) with an Xbox 360 in the lounge via the Connect360 utility. An Airport router (G mushroom version) does wireless duties.
I am thinking about putting my iTunes library on a NAS instead. Some boast UPNP and iTunes server capabilities, sharing media with compatible devices such as Xboxes, Macs and Windows PCs.
But would such a NAS meet my needs? Who offers the best product out of the box? Or can someone suggest a better cross platform solution?
