i have recently been ripping all my cd's to itunes but sometimes it doesn't put the song name and stuff but just gives it a random number.
so when i get my ipod touch in the mail, and hook it up to itunes,
will it automaticly put the cover and song names into the ipod? or will i have to manually put in everything myself? espeacially the covers?
i know that was probably a little confusing so thank you for any answers.:)

If it can't find it in the CDDB database, it will assign track numbers. Yes, you'll have to input it manually. Make sure you do it correctly, or iTunes won't be able to find the album artwork.
