If I upgrade my beige G3 to 9.2.2 and use iTunes Classic can I share music off my PB running 10.3.9 and iTunes 4.9?

I believe to enable sharing, all of the iTunes clients must be at version 4.5 or higher.

The latest iTunes that can be used in OS 9 is 2.0.4. This means that neither the Music Store nor sharing is available to the OS 9 client.

To share between the two machines using iTunes, you'd need to upgrade the beige G3 to OS X and using at least iTunes 4.0.

Oh well...the beige may or may not see OS X. That will be dependant on when the mac mini is updated. If it takes too long then the beige will see a 700mhz G4 and OS X.
