iTunes Store problems running

every so often when i go to iTunes and then the Store i get this message
" you must upgrade to the latest version of iTunes in order to use the iTunes Music Store " now this happens only once in a blue moon or so but it is a pain when serch the main page. I have no problem going to one of my music tracks in my main Libary and clicking the link there , that takes me in to the store every time .


any advice why this is?

I haven't had this problem. I'm still running iTune 4.5 on both my Mac and my PC.

It happens evey now and then, either they're upgrading content on the iTMS or it's just too busy. Try later!

I have iTunes v4.6 and I get this very often.

I don't see why the store should be busy more often for some people?

I have found that quitting and relaunching makes this temporarily better...
