It's an awesome photo, can you work out why?

edit: Image removed, since there seem to be issues. Go to the link for a pic of our J' grinning like a cheshire cat next to his Gee Five

    Just makes me smile :D

    Image in context here.
Didn't think this belonged in Mac Gaming, really, but feel free to move it.

Microsoft is using PowerMac G5 to help build the next XBox 2 as it will be using a processor from IBM that is similar to the G5.

Yeah, I know, there are photos of the delivery many months back.

It's old news, but to see the guy grinning his balls off and demo'ing "Next-gen" XBOX software on a bona-fide G5, still in it's original casing. Whilst handily omitted from the article, the image is spoiled by the box being in shot...

    Just a giggle, really.

No wonder I've been confused staring at a picture of a hammer.

I take it they changed the image?

I wonder why the image was removed. It's not like nobody knows that the development kit includes Powermacs.

    It's not removed...

You people need to learn the power of refresh :p.

It's not showing up because the original user linked directly to the site and their webserver is seeing the referer as macrumors and not letting it leech the bandwidth. When you go to the site it shows up as the hammer still because you have it in cache. Refresh and all will be revealed.

Except I refreshed 5 times and it didn't change. :)
FWIW, invalidating my cache got it back.

P.S Isn't direct linking kinda bad idea?

Yeah, but it was a quick fix :p
Once more... the point wasn't "Ooh! This is news!"
It was more the mental image of these guys at Microsoft just surrounded by G5 boxes, and loving it.
