    I caught a few episodes of Are You Being Served? on PBS and thought it was pretty hilarious..I ended up getting the first two seasons on DVD. They can be a bit painful at times but I love double entendres, and this series is chock full of 'em.

    That's a shame, Are You Being Served was a classic of it's time. It probably hasn't worn well but I have very fond memories of it. John was the best thing about it.

    the show has worn well with me, since i wasn't even a twinkle in my parents' eyes when it was on the air. i started watching on PBS about 7 years ago and he really made that show for me.

    so sad. :(

    Very Sad.

    Even though the style of the show is dated, the laughs don't seem to be! I still see it on from time to time, and still enjoy the show.
