    Considering my dashboard, along with others changes daily, I doubt this can go far.

    I do have to say, the DB is something that changes on a daily basis.
    I guess that's why Apple made it so easy to drag widgets into and close them off the DB.
    I use the countdown (to exams :( ), uptime, clock (to save menubar space) and calendar widgets regularly, and drag in/out what I want to use that day/hour/minute.

    17 days, 13 hours up...Tiger has really smoothed some things out for me - especially my wireless connection
