Over there....
i have just brought an ice-white ibook g3 500mhz from clocktower mac for £135 to replace my dead 800mhz ibook, i don't have the ibook yet i should have it on Monday or Tuesday, and please dont tell me that the ice-white ibooks have gpu problems, i know

Congrats. Which 500mhz did you get? The one with 64mb or 128mb of onboard memory? I hope the latter because you need as much memory as you can get(640mb max).

OH I don't know how scarce they are over there but £135 does seem pretty high. That's basically low-end G5 Powermacs over here in the US.

128mb i think, it has a total of 128mb but he didn't tell me if it is all onboard

£135 may seem high but it will come with a warranty and i have dealt with the guy before so i am happy to pay more, and the parents are more happy

i now have the ibook and it all works execpt the space and delete keys sometimes won't work but outher than that i'm happy

Good buy! The 500MHz seems to have the best longevity of all the ibook G3's. The 700MHz+ had logic board issues in some.
