    lol springscansing!

mostly graphics, video, and flash design... some sound stuff every now-and-then..
I'm a designer by trade, but i'm an artist at heart.... so whatever i can find it useful for... go figure:D DVD's dont look bad on it either... i wish there was a way to hook it up to my 5.1 sound system... i would just use it instead of my tv

very cool, I'm really jealous about the monitor.....and I know there's another thread on the subject, but what exactly is up with macs and no 5.1 support. Oh well - we'll just have to wait for that.....have fun with the designing - I'm using a TiPB (rev B) and no extra monitor and trying to do flash - its a bit tight on the screen, especially when you have to keep swapping around the windows.

I definately would like that display... for being up close. Check this out....

This weekend I went to Ultimate Electronics with a guypal of mine and we checked out their home theatre room. It consisted of a Sharp XGA projector shooting out 120" image.

The neatest part is that my friend had his TiBook in the car, so he got the sales guy to let him plug it in to the projector to see how good it is. Images were near flawless, even letters. DVD's played well also.

Of course, this setup was also $10,000! It did have another bonus. It was a DLP projector, so you could buy 2 of them and throw 3 dimensional images on the screen.

All I can think about is how sick I would get playing Descent Freespace on 120" screen in 3d.

    thanks daveg5

That's exactly what i needed!!! Awesome!!! Anyway.... i'll try and take some picks of the set-up and get post them tomorrow morn....

oh, yeah... i'll start a new thread about this, but for those who are interested, i just received word... the Sony Ericsson p800 will be here in feb. i played with one today.. it must be using the new sony screen technology, because the picture is brilliant, esp. compared to my t68i's 256 color display!!!:)

    later guys,
