I have around 40gbs of movies and TV shows that I bought and ripped using hand brake! These are all currently on my portable Lacie Hard drive! Is there a way of keeping the movies on the hard drive but be abble to open them in iTunes so I can access them on an Apple TV?

    Thanks

When your HD is plugged in, CTRL Click the movie and use "Open with-- iTunes." This should pull it up in the iTunes library and enable you to stream them to your :apple:tv.

Just for the legality of the thread, you do own said ripped videos correct?

Isnt there a link or shortcut to the drive you can put in the itunes folder that will work? What you said was a quick fix. I think he is more in it for the long run.
