Stop with the predictions already. It's 100% worthless.

If there's news supporting your predictions, you post it and point to it to boost your ego.

If there's news downing your predictions, you post it and laugh at it and dismiss it as irrelevant without giving logical or factual support to such an assertion.

You're right and we're wrong. We get it. Now go away, troll

Polls are very important to the political addicts, such as myself. :)

We are like drug addicts and polls are our fix when there is no other hard news to report! They help make those sleepless nights just slightly more bearable.

Last week and this week have just been non-stop Poli-gasms for me! :D

i think if they are that close already, what will it be when elections are there? is there anything like "people tend to vote for the president, until they start to think..."?

and i wonder if bush will do like a real debate this time. and will he do press conferences saying that there are WMD in iraq. and will abuse 9/11 in his campaign. that last would be very low, i think.

No I think you want me to explain to you why this poll does not matter.

If you recall I had stated some time back that Bush will fall behind in the polls. This poll which was taken before the nomination does not fall in that category. I was refering to a national poll well into the main campaign.

Now this poll is actually hard to figure out. 78% still see Bush winning re-election yet only 44% want him re-elected. So I would assume it is polling a bigger pool of democrats. Given that Newsweek is behind it.:)

Bush will win regardless of who is nominated for a couple simple reasons.

Bush is well liked and respected which helps when we are at war. Those running against him are a bunch of fakes. Kerry throws the medals away but actually keeps his own to show off. Dean is crazy. Clark is a dumb Republican. Edwards smells like sleek Willy.

The campaign has not even started. A 10th grader can come up the comercials for Bush. The Democrats are morally and financially broke.

And for once you are correct. I am right and you are wrong.

Spare me that notion that this forum is an open exchange of ideas backed up all the time by both sides.

The long debates are usually deep as you guys try to persuade us that socialism still works. Good Luck.

And you've come up with nothing but speculation, rumination and assumption.

    Thanks for playing.

What in the world are you talking about?

I express my view point give articles to back them up, defend the president, have a little fun and I get called a troll.

I have been called so many names and yet I don't go running to mommy.

No one is "running to mommy".

Your posts/threads are becoming increasingly more combative and falling back into the same pattern of behavior that got you banned before.

Continue it and you will be banned again.

Ironic in that you've called yourself so many names -- sanfelipe, ovi, bond003, etc.

Because you have failed to provide any to the contrary. Keep it up...you're only confirming my assertions.

I do see this as quite an interesting statistic, revealing the disconnect with the way the POTUS is portrayed in the conglomerate media and the way real Americans actually feel about him, not to mention the shameful way in which he took power before.

You know, my brother had a professor at his business school prove why socialism will fail with an equation... I'll have to see if he can find it, because he had the class last year...

That's funny, because that's all I seem to hear from both sides here, yet the liberals don't get banned...

What I hear from liberals is that they want a chance to vote and for the votes to be counted before claiming victory for one side or the other. What I hear from G5man, ovi, sanfellip et.al. is that Bush is going to win before the votes are counted.

    Hmmmm....

Polls dont mean Squat. I think we all know that. I also think there are a lot of independent voters outhere and what they do will decide the outcome of the next election. America isnt to keen on far left liberals nor far right conservatives. Im not sure where George falls into all of this but one thing is for sure he is a Fiscal Liberal and that doesnt sit well for many Americans including me.

People don't get banned for speculation, rumination and assumption. However, anyone who repeatedly breaks the rules will be banned. We don't play favorites here.

If you see something wrong and don't report it, whose fault is it?

I've seen a couple liberals get banned here since the Political forums have started up, the problem with our multi-named poster here is that he has posted inflammatory topics before which has resulted in his leaving of the forums, coming back under a different screenname and getting banned for doing the same thing he did before, then coming back under at least two other screennames and still posts the same inflammatory topics. No matter how much the IPs match, denial is still abundant here apparently...
