    :(

He'll always be Khan to me. Khan was by far the best Star Trek movie -- and Ricardo largely made that movie. Actually, it's one of my all time favorite movies.

Heh, I'll make my wife watch it again this weekend!

    A Must See

Hey all, this is one of my favorite links about Khann:

    http://www.khaaan.com/

I have seen it a 100 times, but it is still good for a laugh.

he will be missed, dearly. he was a great actor, and I have enjoyed everything that I have seen him in.

Still 88 is a good run, hope I last that long

I know the OP didn't mean any harm, but it would be nice if Mr. Montalban's name were in the thread title. That's who he was, not a character.

That said, he'll be missed. He had terrific screen presence. One of those rare screen actors who made it look easy, effortless.

Too bad Ricardo Montalbán wasn't able to guest star on Boston Legal

    I will avenge you!

You have to love Khan's delivery of the his last line:

“To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart, I stab at thee; For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee”

I guess the entire film had Mody Dick/Herman Melville overtones.

His greatest movie performance was the role of "Vidal" in "Sweet Charity", starring Shirley McLaine.
