Can anyone recommend a cooler/stand that can be used with a 15" MacBook Pro on the desk as well as on your lap to keep the hot metal away from the skin and the desktop?

That's weird I just went to Griffin's web site and they do have the iCurve icon but when you click on it that it changes to the elevator stand weird

I think it suits the Macbook/Pros a lot more than the iCurve.

My friend has this one for his powerbook and it works REALLY well:

    http://www.amazon.com/The-Stand-Not.../ref=sr_1_22/104-2884611-3026356?ie=UTF8&s=pc

50 bucks seems a little steep, but then again, I've never really looked into the prices of other similar products. I do know that my friend had one that came in with a dead fan, he returned and got his new one within the week for no cost, so that was pretty nice.

That's if you have the 17'' one. On my 15'' powerbook it worked fine. Can't see any different on the mbp one.

I grabbed an Antec lappy cooler at staples for like $15 bucks on sale.

Not sure how well it actually cools the machine but It makes me feel better to be using it.
