looking for a decent laptop stand to use for my macbook pro
i dont need anything fancy
was looking at the one of the twelve south knock off Vertical Wood Stand

but wondering if there is any other types or I'm going to 3d print

Try Roost stand. Might not be the prettiest amongst the stands but it works well with adjustable heights and it folds down to a small portable size.
