Just wondering, how do some websites find the latest released apps? I'm talking about apps that
have been released for the very first time within the last 24 hours? Are they getting this information
from a news feed? If so, where?

Because, these are the only Apple news feeds I've found:
    http://www.apple.com/rss/

And they don't list the latest released apps. They only list the top ranking apps.

AppShopper.com. There are several pre-made RSS feeds listed in the sidebar and you can also make your own (configure the selector toggles at the top and even enter a search term and the RSS feed link in the top right corner will be customized with those selections).

Thanks, but where is the source feed, originating from Apple?

    [edit]

    Found it!

    iTunes Store RSS Feed Generator
    http://itunes.apple.com/rss/generator/

Select "iOS Apps", "New Apps", click Generate!

If you've invested zero dollars in marketing, then this is first place where your app will
be discovered by the world. :)
