    it's like there's an entire culture in washington now of making up your mind first, then finding "evidence" to fit your foregone conclusions.

    making **** up: it's not just for having a go at science, anymore.

    Just read about this. Un-freaking-believable. I mean, I know we're used to some pretty bad stuff, but this is full on conspiracy stuff. The worst part is how obvious this is. Information is only good to us when it's free, not owned by the same corporations who want to own everything else. We have information flowing freely thanks to the internet, which is probably what they're so worried about, but it was nice to be able to trust the MSM for the verifiable truth. There's so much spin nowadays thanks to talking heads with their own agendas and the desperation for ratings you can't trust anything they say anymore. Haven't for a long time.

    Though it's hard to tell the truth any more on the internet either, because there seems to be a lot of editorializing and lack of accountability there too with everyone and their agendas.
