Don't worry, Libby will get a pardon at some point. And the right-wing-istas will rail about how Clinton was so crooked for pardoning Mark Rich, while defending Bush in the same breath...

No surprise Cheney is dirty. What do you expect out of someone who cant even go Quail hunting without blowing his fellow hunters face off? Trying hard to be a hero but im sure those quails had their wings clipped just like Libbey. Im convinced Rove/Cheney/Libbey are all guilty. Libbey will be the fall guy and Bush will be handing out pardons to all republicans. Duke Cunningham will be happy.

coincidentally (and instead of any mention of the libby/cheney matter), cnn.com has a news alert that e. howard hunt has died.

This appears to be a description of the prosecutor's case, not of any testimony as yet entered into evidence, but it is interesting. I think we're going to find out quite quickly if there's any love lost between Mssrs. Libby and Rove.

I cannot think of a more despicable human being than Dick Cheney. To compromise an American intelligence officer to promote illegal acts against the American people is beyond revulsion. To make it even worse, is to watch that !#*&@%$!$# standing near the American Flag and speak of patriotism and love of Country. Will no one rid me of this traitor?

As long as Bush doesnt dismiss the Constitution it will get rid of his sorry draft dodging where is my desk so I can jump underneath it behind. He's a sad man. Wolf blitzer did a interview with him and you can see he reeks of arrogance and self rightousness. Still thinks he was right on Iraq. If only one of his many deferrels had been turned down during Nam he may have learned the lessons of vietnam.

This doesn't have sex or violence, so unfortunately, no one seems to care as much as they should. Maybe they're just so used to this type of thing they don't even notice anymore. It's just another in a long line.

Waiting for the righties to try to defend this one.

a seat? nah, that'll get ya backstage.

iirc, mr Mokhiber was banned to a seat in the back for a while, and Ari didn't call on him until he got his old seat back.

funny, i'm actually a little nostalgic for ol' ari now.

Oh it also gets you a seat in the press room, if you recall Jeff/Jim Gannon/Guckhert.

Nobody's ever seen the visitor logs that might show when else he may have been "backstage".

Meanwhile, Judith Miller testifies. It doesn't look good for the home team.

I was thinking the same thing. I think she was protecting not only Libbey but perhaps the VP. Now that the cat is out of the bag whats the point of protecting any of these draft dodgers? Still think everything originated with Dick Cheney. He didnt make 6 trips to the CIA for nothing and for them to claim they didnt know the yellowcake was made up spin is just more spin. Cheney was looking for any excuse to validate his Iraq war. Draft dodgers, spineless scum.
