I was at Apple last week and saw this ipad case that went from being a case (portfolio style) to a stand. I think it was made by Griffin but I can't find it or the name anywhere. Can someone help me find it please? It was purplish and black by the way.

No, I already looked at apple.com but thanks. The one I am looking for is both purple and black not one color or the other.

Nope, it actually folds into itself. It's kinda weird like an origami case.
Hard to explain I guess I'll have to call Apple tomorrow or go in maybe. I have looked all over the net and still haven't found it.

There is a case that is actually named origami case.

It's not a portfolio case, however, it's a sleeve, and it's not two colored, either. And it's not leather.

But it does fold back in the same way to make a stand? I'm intrigued. Do report back if you find it, I might be intereseted in it myself! :p

Ya it does fold back. Sorry, I only seen it once but I have pretty good photographic memory except for remembering the name. lol, here it is though.
