So, I've been spending a little of my spare time on an applet. As a GMail user, I've run into great little notifier apps, but I am not a huge fan of the 'in the menu bar' design. Or the lack of proxy support in a couple of them. So I'm pushing out a beta of an app designed to:

    - Combine Google Gears desktop icon launching & Inbox mail checking into a single app that lives into the dock, and uses Mail.app-like badging.
    - Handle HTTPS proxies gracefully via the system settings.
    - Handle mailto: forwarding.
    - Handle network changes and network up/down states gracefully.

I ask that beta testers are:
    - Existing GMail or Google Apps users (I'll want to get a mix of both).
    - Running Leopard.

Send me a PM with your GMail/Google Apps e-mail address, and machine type (MacBook, Mini, Mac Pro, etc... I don't need specs, I just want to hit the matrix). I'll do my best to respond ASAP to requests and hopefully get the beta links out to people in the next 3-4 days.
