What is the best way to setup iTunes with two copies of every song in it - one lossless for playback on my computer, and one MP3 for my iPod. My current tacky solution is to have all my MP3s on one computer and all my lossless files on another.

Create multiple iTunes libraries?

Option-click on iTunes in the Dock to launch app. A dialog box will open to allow you to create a new library or open an existing one.

Another way is to combine them all into one library and use Smart Playlists to separate your lossless from your compressed songs.

Thank you - I never realized you could do this!
