I've been considering getting a LifeProof for my 5S but I just don't see it holding up to drops very well. I've used Griffin Survivors for a long time, but I like the fact that the LifeProof is waterproof and has a protected opening for the camera and Touch ID.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

It works okay- I say it gives it good protection but if it drops from
HIGH face first you can scratch the screen regardless.
However it does cover the whole phone and protect it pretty much 80-90% of accidents at LEAST!

Are you talking about the Fre, or the Nuud? I'm referring to the Fre, which has a built in screen protector.
[doublepost=1470419354][/doublepost]The LifeProof Fre seems to be made mostly of plastic, and is quite thin. I just don't see how in the world it could prevent the screen from shattering from a 6.6ft drop onto a hard surface.
