If it's true, they better send him to prison this time. Actually, he should go willingly.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if he was off the air during the run up to the November elections....

in what regard? off the air? listener abandonment?

cynically, i don't see much changing unless he's put in jail (and can't do his show).

I can't say for sure, but I think IF he is found guilty of possession, that he is in violation of the terms of his probation and could in fact end up in jail.

    What can he talk anymore?

Even the biggest of right wing hypocrites will say he lacks credibility...

Yeah, he got off pretty lightly the last time around and if he's found guilty of smuggling drugs into the US, I'm sure he'll be put away. I wonder how radio stations can justify carrying the program of a convicted drug user and smuggler?

i'm still cynical about it -- i don't think he'll lose many supporters.

    Link.

You hope the best for the guy -- that he gets the help he needs, maybe gets some compassion with it.

You're joking right? You're talking about someone with just about no compassion or empathy.

Doesn't mean one should be without compassion for someone who likely has a serious problem, no matter how big a dick they are.

Yes, this is not even funny, it's just plain disgusting. I'm with Zim though, if his supporters had any brains then they wouldn't support him in the first place.

Your right, he does, but wishing him ill will makes us no better than him.

I wouldn't say that's 100% true. There are some people who deserve no respect and no compassion. Hitler comes to mind.

I don't mean to really wish ill on him, but maybe at least this will get him to knock it off and act like a human being for a change.

no, and I'm unsure of whether he should get compassion. Sometimes you have to choose between the lesser of two evils. It certainly isn't black and white, but I don't know if I could bring myself to help Rush, because he's hurt so many people.
