Hi all, I'm a brand new member, I found this link to the new G5. It's some hidden directory at an Apple site I think.

    Very cool

    http://www.imotep.be/home.html

Let me know what you all think of this new computer!! I wonder how much this thing will cost.

    Reg:)

    Hey Reg,

If you believe what you just posted about this link being "real", I would like to quote Mr. Kristof Krustofski (aka Krusty the Clown),

"You Sir, are an idiot." :D

Firstly it looks so rendered that it is not comparable to anything real from Apple. Secondly, does anyone actually want something like this anyway, really.

I keep saying* that we should maintain a list of hoaxes, sort of like Snopes for Mac urban legends. Were it my choice, there would be a note in some prominent place that says, "before you post a rumor you found on the net, see if it's already listed here (a link to the list)."

*by "I keep saying" I naturally mean "I think I may have mentioned it once several months ago."

The fact that it's not on an Apple.com domain instantly discredits it.

Yeah... that would only cost $999, 999 to build. ;)

Besides, that design has been floating the net for about a year.

moi? I'm just stating fact...if my server is blocking it, then fine, it is blocking it...point is, something is not loading on their server. If they want any ounce of credibility they ought to have a more reliable server.

Anyway I did see it before it was taken down. That nice globe of a Mac. Interesting idea, still the problem with wireless is most wireless devices require batteries. I hate it when they say:

    "Batteries not included..."
