I purchased A wrt54g yesterday and my dual 1.8 powermac g5 doesn't not get an IP address assigned. My dell laptop connected just fine. I've done the firmware update, restarted the router & my g5 numerous times, I attempted to manually assign the IP, netmask and gateway with no luck. My g5 will connect to my old dlink router just fine.

    Any ideas?

In the TCP/IP panel of Network, System Preferences, try:

    1) Using DHCP
    2) Using DHCP with manual address (use a range 192.168.1.xxx)

Or you can access the router by typing 192.168.1.1 into a web browser to access the Linksys menu and look over the settings to make sure there are no settings that restrict access.
