Linux for PowerPC Nintendo Game Cube

    other than the "because I can" factor, what would be the benefit of doing this (think long term...)? What could you make it do?

    Its like an xBox... why do it?

    It is a medium range PC... so its pretty easy, you can customize it... and now its Linux everywhere... on a Palm, on a xBox...

    I think thats the Linux Slogan 'Linux is everwhere' :D

    Why do it? Simple. Play DivX files on the TV :)

    And while we're on the topic of Linux, the new version 2.6.2 has "a lot of PPC fixes".

    And for the record, I prefer Panasonic's Gamecube, if only for the full-size DVD drive.
