Sorry if I'm late to the party. But I've been reading so much about liquid metal iphones and how Apple is a few years away from perfecting the technology to integrate it into the iphone.

To those who probably know a lot about the technology, what exactly are the advantages of having a liquid metal iPhone?

    There's a big thread here.

Basically, it's a metal alloy that's easy to mold like plastic, is very strong, doesn't break from bends, and is scratch / corrosion resistant.

Great for making chassis, hinges, trim, etc.

Probably not so good for making an entire case since it's a metal and thus prevents radio transmissions... unless they figure out a way to use the whole case as an antenna, which seems unlikely to me without cuts in it filled by a different material.
