Listen to Line in on macbook?

Well i had a 360 and i have the vga cable for it, i used to use the line in on my desktop pc, but i sold it and no longer have it. I noticed that the macbook has line in, so i would like to know if there is a way to use the line in and listen to it via headphones? That way i can play on my crt with sound , thank you.

meow... nvm i found out how to do it.... but i gotta use garageband... oh well.
