When I'm in Terminal and I type a long command or something, instead of the Terminal continuing the command onto the next line, it starts overwriting my username@host prompt. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Use "\" to continue the command onto a new line.

Eh, well that's a little inconvenient. However, I've found out why. It appears that if my prompt contains colors (i.e., \033[1;34m\u@\h'\033[0;00m"), then this causes this to happen. Very weird, but whatever. I just set it back to default.

    Thanks for helping.
