very nice. some of it outrageous, and some of it very accurate, heh. the best is hands down the MS word paperclip... i have dreamed of that moment for so long--"hey, why am i in blood?"

    :D

Very funny! I'm losing the battle with my Dell running W2K at work...I feel like kicking it every time it does something stupid...which is pretty much constantly.

Yeah, I've played with that before.. but it's still funny every time I do it!

This will make it even better; I did this at school and it was hilarious:

Go to that page in IE on Windows 98, preferably on a shared machine such as at a school. Then click the fullscreen option. Then just walk away casually and hide, but close enough so you could see who comes to the computer next. Now watch as the next person tries to operate this "Really Good Windows" as everything crashes! Hilarious stuff!

    :D :p

I would have laughed but it is sorta 9 in the morning, and I'm not exactly happy to be out of bed to go to church :(.

But it was amusing. I can relate - sorta - with WindowsXP.

That's hilarious! I like how it's called Windows RG (Really Good). Maybe that's what Microsoft will call Longhorn!:p

yeah, that is pretty funny, but i think "Windows NP" would appeal more to the masses--as in, "No Problem," of course. it would be like a unification of NT and XP. we could all dub it "Windows New Problem," too.

I, personally, hate it being called longhorn.

    It's a disgrace to all texans. ;).

XP is not longhorn. that said, i think in light of steve jobs' keynote, longhorn is the perfect name for an MS product. there they are, inexorable, chewing their cud and stamping their feet. it's hardly a disgrace to texans either. have you seen this place outside of austin? even dallas! that place is a disgrace to itself.

    Well, yeah, Dallas sucks.

And, yes, I know longhorn does not = XP.

But the Longhorn is a symbol of Texas. For it to be a symbol of M$ too seems dishonorable.

I think it should be called Windows Chicken Edition. There aren't many animals as stupid as a chicken. ;)

    now you're insulting Kentucky :p

we already have windows CE, so they won't go calling it that.

anyways, i still contend that equating MS with Texas is just fine. they're both arrogant, massive, full of stupid people with niches of really smart ones (like certain places in austin), and tend to think they own the world. it's perfect.
