Goes to show why Apple Corps were worried about trademark infringement by Apple computer (at the time). They're easy to get confused, especially when referred to in short as simply "Apple".

WRONG! MJ at one point owned the publishing rights to most of the Lennon/McCartney songs, but never the recording rights or other copyrights. Besides, he sold most of his interest in the publishing rights to Sony years ago.

Well I don't think Joe will be.

First, Apple Corp (Beatles) and EMI own the recordings. ATV (Jackson/Sony) owns the publishing rights.

I don't think he has rights to Jackson portion. It will make money for Apple Corp and ATV.
