i have this really long song that i'd like to split into multiple songs, and it's a WAV file (i'm NOT converting it to mp3!). does anyone know of any software application that can split a WAV file into seperate parts?

You can do it in iTunes.

get info>Options<then change the start and stop times to where you want the track to start and stop. Then click on advanced>convert selection to (whatever) the result is a new track with the new start and stop times you specified.

fairly painless process.

i have audacity.

and with iTunes, it's one song at a time....

whatever, i'll just do it with iTunes....
