I am looking for a good, halfway easy to install Linux for my Dell Optiplex GX150 comp (which I bought after Apple still didn't bring out a PizzaBox Mac that I could use as a DIVX player in the livingroom). As I said it should be easy to install, have good support for hardware and also stuff like Ogg Vorbis, Xvid, OGM MKV etc as packages available since I want to do video encoding with it as well. I am currently thinking about RedHat Fedora Linux, any other suggestions?
    Regards,

    Ahmed

Your probably safe with Fedora or Mandrake. Suse is another good distro. Just make sure you only select the packages you are going to need as part of the install to keep the OS footprint small.
