What is the max amount of ram I can install into my buddies 20" imac g5 (isight)?

According to Crucial's memory advisor, it has one slot and can take 2.5Gb. So you've got to buy a 2Gb single DIMM. This sounds weird so I wonder if I have got the wrong model number or if Apple actually were silly enough to only have one DIMM slot in that iMac.

Yep, Southern, Crucial is correct. I have the 17 inch G5 with iSight. Just got the 2 gig stick from Crucial. All the memory tests such as the Apple Hardware Test and Rember (search it on google, very good testing program) say the RAM is "good."

Only ONE issue during installation tho... you have to push the RAM in REALLLLLLLLLY hard to get it seated. It has to "click."
