The Lucent/Orinoco cards are used in the AirPort base stations, and work in PowerBooks. I know they are larger than AirPort cards, but they are essentially the same thing. I know how to make them fit in a Clamshell ibook(remove the heat sink). If I did, will it work?
    Thanks!!!!

Since this appears to work in the clamshell ibook. Will it work in any mac that uses the standard Airport cards. I need one for my iMac but there is no way I would pay $100+ for a used antiquated Airport card off ebay.
