    Hi,

I noticed there is this migration tool that is available during setup which transfer apps and settings over to your new mac from your old mac, but instead of that is there a tool that would backup your mac, and then restore it onto your new mac?

Just planning to.. erm.. sell my PB soon due to the fact that I'm not exactly too happy with it, and that there are actually rumors of Intel PBs coming soon :D

Perhaps, if you knew how to search, you would be happier with your PowerBook. The answer to your question is incredibly easy to find here.

Don't bother backing up the applications, just reinstall them as needed. Also, you would want to see if the apps have universal binary versions available when you get the Intel Mac.

Some applications install things in assorted directpries, you won't get everything you need in a lot of cases.

I think he believes in teaching a guy to fish instead of giving him a fish, don't you think?
