mac book pro 2015 battery incorrect

Before i log in and put my password i saw 87 percent when i logged in and saw my home screen with my apps i saw 92 percent is that normal. I have a macbook pro 13 inch 2015 and i also use istat pro and saw 87 percent what can i do the computer is new?

I wouldn't worry about it. It is probably just being reported incorrectly. Charge it fully, run it down and repeat with your typical usage for a few cycles in order to determine if there are any actual issues with it holding a charge properly.

The percentage indicatior for the battery is a rough estimate at the very best. I have mine turned off on all of the devices I own. Don't worry about it.

Neither one of them are correct as far as I'm concerned. Just ignore them and use your laptop.
