    Haha! Man, I think that about sums it up... still love my new iMac though (and I've only been a Mac convert since this year).

    But, hey, who bought their Mac for games? :\

    Vista is going to crumble bc of the lack of support for OpenGL; GL is still largely used in the market and if ther eis a 50% decrease in speed then Micro$osft is SCREWED for GOOD games.

    GL is rarely used in PC games actually. D3D is definitely dominant and developers, when asked why they don't use OpenGL, basically say that it's because nobody cares. 'Gamers use Windows, there is no reason to use something besides DirectX/D3D'

    I disagree, but that is the cold hard truth.

    I love GL, its easy to program in, has better and easier effects to create than D3D does. Particle effects are very fast, very smooth, etc. I love OpenGL, its so easy!
