This guy is supposed to be a 'mac-head' and yet seems to know very little about the current state of events. http://netscape.businessweek.com/technology/content/oct2003/tc20031015_8070_tc056.htm He says his Dell is faster then his iMac, ok, fine. Speed isn't why most of us use a mac in the first place. It's an old argument beaten to death;. Moto sucks and screwed us speed wise-thus the G5 from IBM. But the article keeps nagging about front side buses, Moto's incompetence, and how Safari can't render a lot of sites and forms? (I com across a site every now and then and submit the bug, but have yet to hit a form that won't work) Then even tho the G5 is the fastest (until the AMD64 is absolutely crowned by more then 4 tests, 1 of which was a game, the other 2 apps were crap coded apps, this guy whines about dumping Moto and looking to AMD chips. Who uses AMD chips? Then goes into the dead animal debate of X on x86, and etc. This is from a proclaimed 'mac-head'? Maybe we need higher standards as to what qualifies a 'mac-head' degree.
