I had some Floppy's passed down to me today, along with with an uponed sealed copy of Mac OS 7.6.1

There are 5 floppy's. They say:

Install 1
Tidbits
Hypercard Program
Disk Tools
Printing

and the OS 7.6.1 Disc says ''To start up most computers from this CD, hold down the C key as the computer starts up''.

Im interested as to what I could do with these, what kind of hardware would I
need to run this stuff? Are they worth anything?

The floppies most likely have sentimental value (most of those parts can be downloaded from Apple... other than the HyperCard disk as I recall).

As for the Mac OS 7.6.1 disk... that should work on any pre-G3 (68030 or later, 32 bit clean) Mac or Mac clone.

The best place to find out how to take advantage of that OS is System 7 Today. The person who runs that site is a member here and can direct you more on how to get the most out of that OS.
