Mac Password Generator 1.0 released

    I prefer the Make-A-Pass widget over this. It's just so handy and easily available.

    What about that built in password generator that OS X has?

    It's not easily available in all apps. If your surfing the web, it might be easier to use an external app. I use RPG. Simple, your can generate any number of keys using restrictive or selective character selection. For instance it's easy to create a hex, octal, or DNA based password, as well as a random cryptographically strong extended ASCII key.

    And of course there is Ordo ;).

    I will try this little app.

    A little something to point out is that anybody that is has to manage and create a number of strong passwords is likely using some sort of key management tool other than Apple's keychain. That tool likely creates strong passwords also, but an external app may be easier to use.
