Hi,
my mac has been freezing up with strange colours on the screen a lot the last 2 days, usually within about a minute of it being on.
I had a very similar problem a few years ago and replacing the video card fixed it. The thing is that earlier this week i got some hardware which requires some driver and software if I want to use it with the mac. It was fine for the first 2 days but then this freezing started. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the new stuff or is it just a coincidence that the video card failed again at the same time. Is there a way of checking? I've been trying to uninstall the new software and driver but it freezes before I can do it.

I use the mac only for Logic 9 and Photoshop cs6 and is not connected to internet. I don't really know anything about computers, if anyone replies, if possible, can you keep it simple so I can understand :p

Thank you very much
