I inadvertantly wiped out my son's G5 desktop... including around 5000 songs in his itunes. His ipod

obviously now contains all these songs and if he connects to his now empty itunes all will be lost.
Mac said there is "un supported software available that will solve this problem.
Any suggestions as to which one is the best to solve this issue so I can at least have the songs bac?
Thanks

I also use TuneAid and iRepoX (Mac) to do same thing. They work pretty well. Also, anything bought from iTunes WIFI or through iTunes store will be restored automatically upon restore (back to your Mac). The things you may lose using that method would be the media you copied in yourself, MP3's, movies, etc...
