Macbook Air battery is dead! Help!

Hey everyone, I own a 2008 Macbook air, and it only turns on when I connect it to the charger.

How much does a new battery cost? Can Apple replace it?

Or what do you guys recommend I do?

Oh yeah a 2008, it needs a new batt.

Apple: usd&125 + tax/labor.

If ur doing it via a 3rd party, be sure is verified for at least 800 cycles unless of course u just want a cheap replacement to hold u over waiting for a complete update this year.
