    Greetings all,

Having been pretty happy with the MBA update I was wondering about the lack of the black bezel as I felt it looked really good on the other laptops. I've heard that the MBA doesn't use a glass screen for weight reasons so I wondered if this was the reason for the lack of the black bezel? I don't have a mac laptop but I presume the bezel is the same style as the iMac in that it has edge-to-edge glass over it. So if this is the case then I guess Apple couldn't warrant changing the manufacturing process (e.g. making new size plastic screens that cover the display and the bezel) for what they would see to be of little benefit?

    What do you think?

The glass weighs around 200g on the MBPs as far as I can remember from some previous thread 2010 about the weight of that component.
