I got my macbook last month and have 3 full charges on it. in Istat it shows the capacity is 97% and in coconut battery it shows 94%. 4900MAh out of 5200MAh.

3 charges and the battery capacity decrease by 3% that's kinda fast itsn't it?
And yet apple promise 300 or 400 charges i believe.

This is normal?

There was a thread about this recently...that one had a good wealth of information, so if you want to read more, do a search.
EDIT: Here it is.

Now, as for your battery, it's fine. Your battery probably did not start out at 100%, in fact, it probably started at something like 98/97%. Your battery is doing fine for now. If you notice that it still keeps on loosing its charge, post these new numbers. Until you do (if you do) notice that, don't worry about it:)
